Hello friends

🍷Today I have some interesting plans – I have been invited to my host’s vineyard in the morning and to wine tasting in the cellar in the evening.

Finally we arrived at the Chkhaveri vineyard, I’ve always been interested in the process of viticulture but what I didn’t know was that it was such fun to take part in it.
Even though I was quite tired by the end, I really had a great time – hearing local stories, tasting local lunch and wine, learning local songs and dancing. I also trimmed one or two grapevines, learned the Adjarian songs and helped the host to arrange the bound vine shoots so that they find their way as they grow.

It turns out that these vine shoots are also used all year round to heat the oven or to roast barbecue. They say barbecue fried on the vine shoots has the best taste
