Masterclass / tasting of Adjarian dishes – we shall teach you how to make cheese, we shall make Borano from freshly made cheese, as well as Adjarian Khachapuri and Khatmeri, which is made of sugar, walnuts and khachapuri dough. Also, Kalajo, an ancient Adjarian dish, Sinori and Chirbuli, a cucumber and Nadughi salad.
Getting to know Adjarian customs – We shall start aquainting ourselves with Adjarian traditions from Adjarian songs and you shall have an opportunity to listen to old folk songs and try to learn how to perform them yourself. You shall also watch young people dance and can take a dance masterclass upon desire. While in the evening, you shall experience the tradition of Adjarian feast and see the Tamada in action (the Toast Master).
Viticulture / wine tasting / vineyard maintanance / dinner in the vineyard / – you shall have an opportunity to harvest grapes, get acquainted with the art of wine crushing and personally participate in the process, taste different types of wine, along with matching traditional dishes.
Vodka distilling / tasting – in the process of vodka making, you shall learn how to prepare the raw material, how to assemble and set a vodka distilling device and how to regulate the amount of alcohol in vodka, and also have an opportunity to taste some freshly distilled vodka.
Hiking in the mountains – We shall organize a hiking tour to Mountain-Nakonaghvari, located seven kilometers away from our hotel. You shall have a choice of going hiking or opting for a car-tour. Price of this hiking tour is 90 GEL per person, including food (three times a day) and an overnight stay.
Agro Tourism – You can pick cucumbers, tomatoes, corn, potatoes, tkemali (a variety of sour plum), various vegetables and fruits from our vegetable garden and make some jam or sauce.
Shepherding the herd to the mountains – early in the morning you will be able to take a herd of cattle to the mountains, have scenic stops as you walk, and taste cold mountainous springs and have a little picnic on the way.
Honeycomb squeesing and tasting – you shall see our and our village neighbours’ bee families. You will be able to remove the honey yourself in our Naduri way (with the help of the neighborhood, collective work). Honey is removed from honey combs accompanied by singing, followed by tasting of the honey and other apiary products.
Learning folk trades / knitting, embroidery– you can take part in the production of Georgian folk instrument “Fanduri”. You will get aquainted with various traditional handicrafts like felting, knitting, embroiderying.
Fishing and swimming in the river, dinner by the river, etc – there is a river near the hotel, so-called Gvakha- whirlpool, which is an ideal place for picnics, fishing and swimming in cold mountainous water. One-kilometer away from the river (hiking distance) you will find Merris Falls. You can visit both places, have dinner by the river, fish and swim.
